Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Geospatial Scientist - Electrical Transmission.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary geospatial point of contact for electric transmission projects
Collaborate with client services and project managers to develop innovative GIS solutions
Implement automation to streamline GIS workflows and establish standard practices

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field with GIS emphasis
Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant industry experience, including five (5) years in a GIS analyst or lead role
Experience with electric transmission siting and complex datasets related to transmission infrastructure
Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro 3.x and experience using ArcGIS Online
Strong background in suitability modeling and raster-based scoring
