Senior Geospatial Software Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Geospatial Software Engineer, who will work full-time in a hybrid remote capacity, leading the design and integration of advanced geospatial and intelligence platforms while ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade GIS applications and solutions
• Provide technical leadership across the software development lifecycle and guide teams in Agile/Scrum environments
• Lead system integration efforts with geospatial databases and services, ensuring compliance with Risk Management Framework (RMF)

Required Qualifications

• Proven leadership in developing and managing enterprise GIS solutions in secure environments
• Advanced experience with programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, C++, HTML, SQL, and C#
• Deep expertise in geospatial tools including ArcGIS Enterprise, QGIS, and PostGIS/PostgreSQL
• Significant experience with DevSecOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in information systems or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience
