Senior GIS Analyst

Job Summary

Experienced GIS professionals will find a full-time remote opportunity as a Senior GIS Analyst, responsible for managing GIS analytics, data visualizations, and mentoring junior team members while developing automated solutions for operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

• Master and manage static and interactive GIS concepts, including data analytics and visualization tools
• Identify process gaps and develop effective solutions while preparing business cases for executive leadership
• Lead project efforts and mentor junior team members on GIS processes and technology advancements

Required qualifications:

• 5-7 years of GIS-related experience with a strong command of ESRI ArcGIS applications
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of scripting and coding, including Python and Javascript
• Proficiency in using GIS tools such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Business Analyst, and Mapbox
• Experience in mentoring and managing workloads within a team environment
• Ability to evaluate and implement new production applications and processes
