Senior GIS Analyst
Job Summary
To support the development of GIS applications, the full-time Senior GIS Analyst will collect, compile, organize, and analyze spatial and tabular data while maintaining complex database information in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise instances across multiple hardware servers
- Create products and models using Python scripting and automate processes for data analysis
- Prepare spatial data analyses, including static maps and interactive products derived from spatial data
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geography or Computer Science, or an advanced degree in the same fields
- A minimum of five years of experience in geospatial analysis using GIS or geospatial frameworks
- Technical knowledge of Esri software, particularly ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
- Certification in geospatial technologies, such as GISP, or the ability to obtain certification within six months of employment
- Experience with ETL tools and best practices for data interoperability
