Senior GIS Analyst
Job Summary
To support the development of GIS applications, the full-time Senior GIS Analyst will collect, compile, and analyze spatial and tabular data while maintaining complex databases in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise instances on multiple hardware servers
- Create products and models using Python scripting and process automation for data analysis
- Prepare and produce various spatial data products, including static and interactive maps
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in geography or IT, or an advanced degree in the same fields
- Minimum of five years of experience in geospatial analysis using GIS or geospatial frameworks
- Technical knowledge of Esri software, particularly ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
- Certification in geospatial technologies, such as GISP, or the ability to obtain it within six months of employment
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
