Senior GIS Analyst
Job Summary
To support the development of GIS applications, the full-time Senior GIS Analyst will collect, compile, organize, and analyze spatial and tabular data while updating and maintaining complex database information in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise instances across multiple servers
- Create products and models using Python scripting and process automation for spatial data analysis
- Prepare analyses of spatial data, including static and interactive maps, to support program objectives
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in geography or IT, or an advanced degree in the same fields
- Minimum of five years of experience in geospatial analysis using GIS frameworks
- Technical knowledge of Esri software, particularly ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
- Certification in geospatial technologies (e.g., GISP) or ability to acquire it within six months of employment
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and JavaScript
