Senior GIS Analyst
Job Summary
To support the development of GIS applications, the full-time Senior GIS Analyst will collect, compile, organize, and analyze spatial and tabular data while updating and maintaining complex database information in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, install, and configure ArcGIS Enterprise instances on multiple hardware servers
- Create products and models using Python scripting and process automation for spatial data analysis
- Translate business value goals into usable maps and data models while producing technical recommendations and documentation
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in geography or IT, or an advanced degree in geography or IT
- Minimum of five years of experience in geospatial analysis using GIS or geospatial frameworks
- Technical knowledge of Esri software, particularly ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online
- Certification in geospatial technologies, or the ability to acquire certification within six months of employment
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, and Feature Manipulation Engine (FME)
