Senior GIS Architect
Job Summary
To design and guide complex enterprise geospatial solutions, the full-time Senior GIS Architect will provide senior architecture leadership for GIS platforms, data, integrations, and cloud infrastructure while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain enterprise GIS architectures for complex customer environments
- Lead technical planning for ArcGIS technologies and develop architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies
- Evaluate existing GIS environments and recommend improvements for performance, scalability, and security
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible GIS or geospatial technology experience
- Expert knowledge of enterprise GIS architecture and the Esri technology platform
- Strong experience designing and supporting enterprise geodatabases and cloud-based GIS solutions
- Demonstrated experience leading ArcGIS Enterprise architecture and modernization initiatives
