Senior GIS Developer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a GIS Map Developer - Level III (Senior).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and enhance web-based GIS and mapping applications using modern geospatial technologies
• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective geospatial software designs
• Build interactive web maps and spatial analysis features using industry-standard APIs and frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• Advanced proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS for enterprise and web-based geospatial applications
• 8-12 years of relevant GIS and software development experience
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or 4 additional years of relevant experience if not in a related field)
• Strong understanding of GIS principles, spatial data formats, projections, and cartographic concepts
• Minimum 2+ years experience with Agile methodologies and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
