Senior GL Accountant

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Senior GL Accountant will manage general ledger accounting activities, including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and payroll, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across various general ledger accounts
• Partner with FP&A, Payroll, PeopleOps, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial information
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by analyzing financial results and investigating discrepancies

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting, preferably in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA is a plus
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight month-end deadlines
