Senior GL Accountant
Job Summary
To support a growing finance function, the full-time Senior GL Accountant will manage the general ledger and day-to-day accounting operations, overseeing the procure-to-pay cycle and ensuring accurate monthly and quarterly closes in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly and quarterly closes
- Own the full procure-to-pay cycle, administering the spend management system and maintaining spend controls
- Drive system and process improvements across the accounting tool stack to build scalable, well-documented processes
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of accounting experience with strong general ledger experience in a multi-entity corporation
- BS/BA in Accounting required
- Expertise in US GAAP
- Hands-on ERP experience, particularly in procurement processes and systems
- Experience in a high-growth or startup environment
