Job Summary
To support a range of projects in global health and development, the full-time Senior Global Health Development Economist will lead complex research initiatives, design analytical frameworks, and guide client strategy while working remotely within the United States.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a bridge between data scientists, economists, and domain experts to ensure methodologically rigorous analytical approaches
- Design and implement quantitative analyses focused on predictive analytics and geospatial analyses to address global health challenges
- Translate complex analytical results into actionable recommendations for policymakers and contribute to business development efforts
Required qualifications
- Ph.D. in Economics, Data Science, Global Health, or a related quantitative field with expertise in econometrics and machine learning
- Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting quantitative research in policy-relevant domains
- Extensive experience with Python and R; working knowledge of Stata
- Proven track record in designing and executing data analytics tools for global health
- Experience managing complex projects and engaging with government or nonprofit clients in the global health space
