Senior GNC Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Guidance, Navigation, & Control (GNC) Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate a novel high-level vehicle architecture in collaboration with other engineering leads
• Create algorithms for precise navigation in various space environments including LEO, MEO, GEO, and interplanetary space
• Develop simulation and modeling tools to support vehicle and GNC trade studies

Qualifications

• Experience with estimation algorithms for flight and ground software, including Kalman Filters
• Experience with Monte Carlo analyses and covariance analysis
• Experience with verification and validation of GNC flight software in an integrated environment
• Experience with GNC sensor sizing, selection, and system design
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Julia, C/C++, Rust, or Matlab for algorithm development
