Senior Go Engineer
Job Summary
To support a mission of making healthcare more accessible, the full-time Senior Go Engineer will develop and maintain backend services and APIs, collaborating with engineering teams in a fully remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and performant services
- Continually improve the codebase and test coverage through refactoring and automated testing
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and make informed engineering decisions
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience
- Extensive experience with Go and cloud-based web services, preferably AWS
- Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational database technologies
- Experience with containers, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Proven debugging skills and understanding of application-level design patterns
