Senior Go Engineer
Job Summary
To support a mission of making healthcare more accessible, the full-time Senior Go Engineer will develop and maintain tools, back-end services, and APIs, collaborating with engineering teams in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable and performant services
- Improve the codebase and test coverage through refactoring, unit testing, and automating deployment
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and make data-driven engineering decisions
Required qualifications:
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience
- Significant experience with Go and cloud-based web services, preferably AWS
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript, Kafka, and database technologies
- Experience with containers, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless technologies
- Proven debugging skills and understanding of design patterns
