Senior Google SecOps Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time Senior Google SecOps Engineer will implement, manage, and enhance Google SecOps environments while collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful project execution and alignment with business processes, all in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead SecOps project delivery by defining and communicating systems requirements and design standards across the enterprise
• Architect and design SecOps ingestion and integration architectures while identifying opportunities for efficiencies and automation
• Act as an escalation point for customers and internal teams, ensuring timely resolution of platform issues

Required qualifications:

• 5 or more years of experience in IT security, specifically with Google SecOps environments
• Strong foundational understanding of networking principles, security best practices, and systems administration
• Experience with Python or other scripting languages, as well as writing YARA-L rules or similar queries
• Demonstrated experience in Information Security domains and familiarity with security program requirements and processes
• Ability to work effectively in project teams and maintain strong organizational skills
