Senior Government Reimbursement Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for the accuracy and compliance of over $1 billion in government payer reimbursement, the full-time remote Senior Government Reimbursement Analyst will prepare Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports, conduct reimbursement analyses, and support government audits.

Key responsibilities:

• Prepare and coordinate annual Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party cost reports while ensuring compliance with current regulations
• Analyze and verify interim rate calculations and final settlements for accuracy, while identifying and addressing reimbursement issues
• Collaborate with finance, revenue cycle, and operational teams to enhance financial performance and ensure audit readiness

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the healthcare field
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations and reporting requirements
• Experience with Medicare Cost Reports and electronic cost reporting software
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
