Job Summary
Responsible for the accuracy and compliance of over $1 billion in government payer reimbursement, the full-time remote Senior Government Reimbursement Analyst will prepare Medicare and Medicaid Cost Reports, conduct reimbursement analyses, and support government audits.
Key responsibilities:
- Prepare and coordinate annual Medicare, Medicaid, and other third-party cost reports while ensuring compliance with current regulations
- Analyze and verify interim rate calculations and final settlements for accuracy, while identifying and addressing reimbursement issues
- Collaborate with finance, revenue cycle, and operational teams to enhance financial performance and ensure audit readiness
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the healthcare field
- Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement regulations and reporting requirements
- Experience with Medicare Cost Reports and electronic cost reporting software
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting
