Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior GPU Kernel Development Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Enhance and optimize deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch for AMD GPUs
• Create and optimize GPU kernels to maximize performance for specific AI operations
• Collaborate with internal teams and open-source maintainers to improve training and inference performance on AMD GPUs

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of professional experience in technical software development focused on GPU optimization and performance engineering
• Experience in designing and optimizing GPU kernels for deep learning using HIP, CUDA, and assembly
• Skilled in Python and C++ with experience in debugging and performance tuning
• Foundational understanding of compiler theory and tools like LLVM and ROCm for performance optimization
