Senior Grants Accountant

Job Summary

Managing financial activity across the grant lifecycle, the full-time Senior Grants Accountant will analyze budgets, serve as a consultant to management, and oversee reconciliations and reporting in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze grant budgets, expenditures, projections, variances, and funding utilization to provide financial insights to leadership
• Consult with all levels of management to support decision-making for initiatives, policies, and procedures
• Manage the financial activity of grants, including budgeting, reconciliations, drawdowns, reporting, modifications, and closeout

Required qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience, OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree, OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience
• Grants accounting experience preferred
• 5+ years of accounting experience preferred
