Senior GRC Engineer

Job Summary

To support federal compliance initiatives, the full-time Senior GRC Engineer will guide clients through NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP processes, lead a compliance team, and ensure the execution of security controls while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead clients through the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) lifecycle for NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP compliance
• Manage and mentor a small team of compliance professionals, ensuring high-quality service delivery across multiple projects
• Develop and maintain essential authorization documentation and conduct gap assessments to support clients in achieving compliance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in federal compliance, specifically with NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing or guiding a compliance team
• Deep understanding of the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and related security controls
• Experience with NIST SP 800-53 control implementation and assessment
• Familiarity with FedRAMP authorization paths and experience working with cloud service providers (CSPs)
