Senior GRC Engineer

Job Summary

To support and scale the Assurance & Compliance function, the full-time Senior GRC Engineer will work remotely to manage compliance programs, audit readiness activities, and customer assurance initiatives while transforming compliance into a continuous, measurable capability embedded in engineering and business operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support compliance initiatives including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and CJIS by partnering with cross-functional teams
• Build scalable processes and improve audit readiness to enhance customer trust and regulatory alignment
• Drive compliance automation and process improvements to create efficient operational workflows

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in GRC, cybersecurity, IT audit, or a related field
• Experience with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001
• Familiarity with SaaS or cloud-based environments, preferably AWS
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CISA, or ISO 27001 Internal Auditor are a plus
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and maintain compliance documentation
