Senior Grid Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Lead Grid Reliability Engineer, Operations and Performance - Battery Storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and implement controls for compliance with NERC, PPA, RTO, ISO, and other regulatory standards
• Monitor and analyze system performance data to identify trends and issues affecting asset performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify optimization opportunities and enhance asset operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in reliability engineering or asset management in the electric utility industry
• Knowledge of NERC reliability standards and experience with ISO and utility operations
• Experience in the design and operation of power system assets, particularly Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data for decision-making
