Job Summary
To support the growth and persistency of Group Claims, the full-time Senior Group Claims Consultant will act as a liaison between the Claims organization and Sales/Brokers, providing comprehensive service and solutions while developing strong relationships with clients and stakeholders in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage relationships with Brokers and clients, ensuring high-quality service and issue resolution for all claims-related concerns
- Consult with regional managers and sales associates to address insurance coverage needs and plan design, participating in pre/post-sale communications
- Identify trends in claims processes and propose enhancements to improve customer experience and satisfaction
Required qualifications
- 2-5 years of direct group benefits claims experience, preferably with adjudication expertise
- Strong skills in diplomacy, negotiation, and relationship-building
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and manage claim escalations effectively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for articulating complex ideas
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting with a reliable internet connection
