Job Summary
To support the development and modernization of evidence-based clinical guidance products, the full-time Senior Guideline Specialist will lead systematic literature reviews and manage the lifecycle of clinical practice guidelines, working remotely or from the Alexandria, VA location.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of clinical practice guidelines and oversee systematic literature review development
- Provide advanced methodological expertise to support Guidelines Advisory Groups and internal teams throughout the guideline development cycle
- Integrate advanced guideline development platforms and AI tools to optimize workflows and enhance evidence synthesis
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Epidemiology, Public Health, Health Research Methodology)
- 5+ years of experience in clinical practice guideline development or systematic literature reviews
- Proven track record of managing technical clinical documents through multi-stakeholder review cycles
- Experience with digital guideline authoring platforms and systematic review software
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and content management systems
