Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Hadoop Developer.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance systems for managing large data sets using Spark/Scala
Write and review code, create APIs, and document technical specifications
Perform unit testing, debugging, and support application transitions throughout the Product Development Lifecycle

Required Qualifications

5+ years of professional experience in technical design and coding in the IT industry
3+ years of experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Scala in a Lead Developer role
Experience with Apache Kafka and DB2
Proficiency in more than one object-oriented programming language
A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an IT related field
