Senior Hardware Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Hardware Engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Applications and Quality engineers while fostering collaboration across various departments
• Manage technical vendor relationships, negotiate improvements, and implement a vendor development program focused on quality products
• Analyze quality gaps, document performance measures, and facilitate training opportunities to promote a quality culture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related science; P.E. or PMP is a plus
• 10+ years of relevant experience in Hardware Engineering or Product Development, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
• Experience in Renewable Energy systems, particularly Battery Systems and Photovoltaics
• Proven vendor management experience with strong negotiating skills
• Technical expertise in data analysis, mathematics, and statistical techniques
