Senior Health Economist

Job Summary

To support the development of advanced economic models for global health, the contract-based Senior Health Economist will work remotely to create, validate, and communicate sophisticated health economic models and analyses from July to October 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and adapt state-transition (Markov cohort) models for health economic evaluation
• Conduct cost-effectiveness, budget impact, and scenario analyses
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret and communicate modeling results

Required qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in Health Economics, Decision Sciences, Epidemiology, or a related quantitative discipline
• Demonstrated expertise in developing Markov cohort models
• Strong understanding of epidemiology and disease progression modeling
• Peer-reviewed publication record in health economics or related fields
• Advanced proficiency in R and experience with Excel-based health economic models
