Senior Health Information Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Health Information Scientist for a fully remote position in the USA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize data across contexts to identify opportunities for improvement
• Lead the marriage of operational, clinical, laboratory, and other data structures
• Design a data model that marries genomic, operational, and traditional clinical data

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience in clinical informatics, bioinformatics, clinical data science, and/or clinical data engineering
• Proficiency in at least one programming language
• Proficiency with data management systems, relational or otherwise (SQL / NoSQL)
• Strong understanding of the role of clinical controlled vocabularies in clinical information systems
• Bachelor's degree in a directly relevant field or bachelor's degree in an unrelated field with substantial experience in informatics or data science required
