Job Summary
Providing senior-level operational and strategic leadership, the full-time Senior Health Systems Specialist will support the Department of Veterans Affairs' Electronic Health Record modernization initiatives, ensuring efficient functionality and performance recovery in a remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and strategic support for VHA EHR modernization programs, including Go-Live and ongoing initiatives
- Support clinical operations, ensuring continuity in medication ordering, clinical documentation, and decision support functionality
- Serve as a senior advisor on health system operations and governance related to Oracle Health Millennium deployment
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline
- Minimum of ten years of experience in healthcare operations or health informatics
- Demonstrated experience with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs or Veterans Health Administration
- Extensive experience with Oracle Health Millennium clinical operations
- Proven expertise in supervising multidisciplinary teams in healthcare technology initiatives
