Senior Healthcare Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Health Care Analyst who provides analytic support for financial modeling and trend analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Develops financial models to project costs and estimate savings for business decisions
• Manages therapeutic class cost and utilization projection models to support budget forecasting and strategy development
• Conducts drill down analysis to identify specific opportunities and risks for assessment by the Strategy Development Committee

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, public health, health informatics, or related field required; Master's degree preferred
• Minimum five years related experience, with at least two years in financial modeling
• Experience in healthcare analytics of financial/clinical data, including data modeling and trend analysis
• Proficiency in advanced analytical/reporting tools such as R, Python, SAS, SQL, Microstrategy, Tableau, or Hadoop preferred
• Knowledge of analytical or data mining techniques strongly preferred
