Senior Healthcare Copywriter

Job Summary

To support a high-priority pharmaceutical assignment, the remote freelance Senior Healthcare Copywriter will develop compelling, scientifically accurate long-form promotional and educational content for healthcare professionals while collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop long-form HCP promotional and educational content across various campaigns
• Write fully annotated, reference-backed copy that is MLR-ready and compliant
• Translate complex clinical data into clear messaging for healthcare professional audiences

Required qualifications:

• 7+ years of copywriting experience within a pharmaceutical advertising agency
• Experience at the Associate Creative Director (ACD) or Copy Supervisor level
• Extensive experience writing for Healthcare Professional (HCP) audiences
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional long-form pharmaceutical writing
• Deep understanding of FDA regulations and the MLR review process
