Job Summary

Managing patient inquiries in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Healthcare Customer Service Rep will handle questions and concerns, ensuring high-quality patient experiences through effective communication and resolution of account-related issues.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient experiences through inbound and outbound call resolution with a focus on first call resolution
  • Manage inquiries via multiple communication channels using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
  • Review and interpret patient statements, explanations of benefits, and account balances to provide accurate information
Required qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center environment
  • Experience with revenue cycle operations and medical claims
  • Familiarity with healthcare industry terminology, including CPT & ICD-10 codes
  • Background in patient-focused customer service
