Job Summary
Managing patient inquiries in a remote full-time capacity, the Senior Healthcare Customer Service Rep will handle questions and concerns, ensuring high-quality patient experiences through effective communication and resolution of account-related issues.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient experiences through inbound and outbound call resolution with a focus on first call resolution
- Manage inquiries via multiple communication channels using EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or Meditech
- Review and interpret patient statements, explanations of benefits, and account balances to provide accurate information
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a healthcare call center environment
- Experience with revenue cycle operations and medical claims
- Familiarity with healthcare industry terminology, including CPT & ICD-10 codes
- Background in patient-focused customer service
