Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Home Loan Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and render home loan lending decisions in compliance with policies and guidelines
• Review and assess borrower documentation to determine eligibility and repayment ability
• Provide mentorship and support to team members while ensuring alignment with risk-tolerance standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum of five years of independent mortgage underwriting experience required
• MBA Certified Residential Underwriter (CRU) and FHA Direct Endorsement (DE) designations preferred
• Experience with loan origination software and AUS systems required; knowledge of Encompass preferred
• Knowledge of compliance requirements and established policies and procedures
