Senior Hospital Biller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Specialty Biller.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and compliant billing for various claims, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurers
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior billing staff
• Manage claim rejections and ensure timely submission of claims with appropriate documentation

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in a related field or a High School diploma with 2 additional years of relevant experience
• At least 5 years of billing experience in an acute healthcare setting, or 7 years with a high school diploma
• Preferred experience in various billing types, including substance abuse and mental health
• Coding certifications and/or Epic experience are a plus
• Ability to perform sedentary work and manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment
