Senior HPC and Quantum Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a pioneering Accelerated Quantum Computing Center, the full-time Senior HPC and Quantum Systems Engineer will architect, deploy, and manage a hybrid computing platform that integrates NVIDIA GPU clusters with quantum processors, while ensuring operational reliability and collaborating with research teams.

Key responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and operate a hybrid computing platform combining NVIDIA GPU clusters with quantum processors
• Ensure the reliability and performance of the Quantum environment, managing Linux systems, QPU hardware, and job schedulers
• Collaborate with quantum hardware partners to define system architecture and integration requirements for new quantum systems

Required qualifications

• 12+ years of hands-on experience operating HPC or large-scale compute infrastructure in production environments
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physics, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience; PhD is a plus
• Strong background in Linux systems administration and job schedulers like Slurm
• Experience in data center environments, including networking, storage, and operational constraints
• Familiarity with quantum computing concepts and hardware architectures
