Senior HPC Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior HPC Performance Engineer - AI for Science at Scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement computationally performant features for large scale, CUDA-backed ML training frameworks
• Optimize computational performance of various ML models through hardware and software enhancements
• Develop and maintain HPC software stack for generative machine learning models

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Computational Biophysics, or Mathematics
• 8+ years of relevant experience in performance engineering and software design
• Deep understanding of parallel programming in C++, Python, and ideally CUDA
• Proficient in modern machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow
• Experience with HPC solutions for research problems in biology, chemistry, or material science
