Senior HPC Performance Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior System Software Engineer - GPU Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth performance characterization and analysis on large multi-GPU and multi-node clusters
• Triage and root-cause performance issues reported by customers, while evaluating proof-of-concepts
• Collect performance data and build tools for visualization and analysis

Required Qualifications

• M.S. or PhD in Computer Science or related field with relevant performance engineering and HPC experience
• 3+ years of experience with parallel programming and at least one communication runtime (MPI, NCCL, UCX, NVSHMEM)
• Experience conducting performance benchmarking on large scale HPC clusters
• Good understanding of computer system architecture and operating systems principles
• Proficient in a scripting language, preferably Python, and experience with C/C++ for implementing micro-benchmarks
