Senior HPE NonStop Systems Engineer
Job Summary
Providing operational support for mission-critical HPE NonStop (Tandem) systems, the full-time Senior HPE NonStop Systems Engineer will administer and enhance the stability, performance, and security of the compute platform in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and support HPE NonStop (Tandem) systems, including configuration, upgrades, and preventive maintenance
- Monitor system health, capacity, availability, and performance while partnering with application teams for deployments and troubleshooting
- Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies, disaster recovery plans, and system security policies
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
- Hands-on experience supporting HPE NonStop systems
- Experience with NonStop capacity planning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Advanced knowledge of programming and systems analysis
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
