Senior HR Integrations Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Senior HR Integrations Engineer will design, build, and troubleshoot complex API-driven integrations between Workday and enterprise platforms, leveraging deep technical expertise in a dynamic environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement API-driven integrations between Workday and various enterprise systems
• Utilize orchestration tools like Microsoft Power Automate for execution layers in integration workflows
• Inspect, modify, and troubleshoot raw API requests or responses to optimize integration processes

Required qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in HR integrations, specifically with Workday SOAP and REST APIs
• Strong understanding of Workday data models, object relationships, and business process behaviors
• Experience with Workday Business Process-controlled API behavior, security, and XML structure
• Ability to troubleshoot API failures and manage complex integrations involving multiple systems
• Proven skills in optimizing integration workflows and data flows
