Job Summary
Experienced in leave management, the full-time Senior HR Specialist, Leave Management will provide consultative support and expertise in handling FMLA, ADAAA, and disability programs while working remotely to ensure compliance and effective resolution of escalated issues.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations regarding employee absences, including FMLA and ADA
- Draft and manage leave-related legal correspondence, maintaining accuracy and sensitivity in communications
- Manage leave assignments and escalations in the case management system, supporting ongoing initiatives related to disability and leave processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in HR, specifically in leave management and accommodations
- In-depth knowledge of FMLA, ADAAA, and Short- and Long-Term Disability regulations
- Certification as a Certified Professional (CP) from the Society of Human Resource Management is preferred
- Experience in managing high-volume caseloads in fast-paced environments
