Senior IAM Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing enterprise identity platform, the full-time Senior IAM Engineer will architect and engineer identity lifecycle management, access governance, and automation processes in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own the enterprise identity platform, architecting SSO integrations, lifecycle workflows, and MFA policies using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Engineer identity lifecycle management by designing access control models and automating provisioning/deprovisioning workflows in collaboration with HR systems
• Build and track IAM measurement layers to define and monitor key performance indicators that demonstrate program maturity

Required qualifications

• Production experience in engineering and operating enterprise identity platforms, including SSO, lifecycle management, and group-based access
• Strong skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), particularly with Terraform or equivalent tools
• Deep knowledge of SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM, with hands-on experience in custom authorization servers
• Experience designing access control models in SaaS-heavy environments and governing access across cloud platforms
• Proficiency in coding for automation of identity operations using languages such as Python or Go
