Senior IAM Security Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the enterprise IAM function, the full-time remote Senior IAM Security Engineer will own the architecture and strategy for identity technologies, mentor engineers, and reduce identity attack surfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and optimize identity architecture and continuous adaptive trust capabilities across workforce and non-human identities
• Lead identity lifecycle automation, governance, and privileged access management initiatives
• Integrate identity telemetry into detection systems and develop incident response playbooks for identity-based threats

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience; Master's degree in Cybersecurity preferred
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise IAM or security engineering, with specialization in identity and access domains
• Expertise in architecting identity platforms and knowledge of authentication and federation protocols
• Experience leading identity threat detection and designing automation for access enforcement
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/automation language (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
