Senior IBM Netcool Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing IT infrastructure, the remote Senior IBM Netcool/Omnibus Engineer will design, implement, and maintain the IBM Netcool/Omnibus event management platform while managing Linux systems and Oracle databases in a long-term contract role.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain IBM Netcool/Omnibus infrastructure for enterprise-wide event management
• Administer Linux systems and perform Oracle database management tasks
• Develop and implement automation workflows and integrations with third-party platforms

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Netcool/Omnibus (ObjectServer, Probes, Gateways)
• 3+ years of Linux system administration experience
• Working knowledge of Oracle database administration
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
