Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior IBM Z Communications Systems Programmer (ALC Specialist).

Key Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and maintain custom high-performance Assembler Language Code (ALC/BAL) for communications applications
• Perform advanced diagnostics to identify and resolve complex communications failures
• Develop and maintain complex JCL and REXX scripts for automation and problem recovery

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as an IBM Z Systems Programmer in high-volume environments
• Expert-level proficiency in Assembler Language Code (ALC/BAL) for communications protocols
• Deep understanding of IBM z/Architecture and z/OS kernel operation
• Experience with advanced debugging tools and performance monitoring utilities
• Strong knowledge of network protocols in the mainframe context (TCP/IP)
