Senior Immigration Specialist
Job Summary
Providing strategic guidance and operational support, the full-time Senior Immigration Specialist will manage compliance activities, interpret immigration laws, and develop processes while working remotely on an upcoming Federal project contingent upon bid award.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the subject matter expert on U.S. immigration laws and provide regulatory guidance to program teams and leadership
- Monitor and analyze changes in immigration legislation, developing compliance strategies and recommendations
- Lead immigration compliance activities, including audits and risk assessments, while tracking program activity and preparing performance reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 5+ years of professional experience in immigration services or related areas
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. immigration laws and regulations
- Experience supporting federal government agencies
- At least 5 years of experience advising on immigration matters or serving as an immigration subject matter expert
- Eligibility for a Public Trust Clearance and U.S. Citizenship required
