Job Summary

Bringing extensive incident response expertise, the fully remote Senior Incident Handler will lead critical security incidents from detection to recovery, coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with executives to ensure swift and effective responses.

Key responsibilities
  • Serve as the lead responder during critical incidents, managing the full lifecycle from detection through containment, eradication, and recovery
  • Unify cross-functional teams, including analysts and third-party partners, to streamline incident response efforts and minimize dwell time
  • Translate technical realities into clear business impacts for stakeholders during high-severity events, fostering calm and confidence
Required qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity operations or incident response, with a proven track record of leading complex incidents
  • Demonstrated ability to act as an incident commander or technical lead in high-stakes situations
  • Strong knowledge of network security, EDR/XDR, log analysis, and threat hunting across on-prem and cloud environments
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, credible with both technical teams and executives
  • Preferred certifications include CISSP, GCIA, GCIH, or similar credentials
