Senior Industrial Designer

Job Summary

Driving the industrial design for next-generation vehicle security hardware, the full-time Senior Industrial Designer will develop innovative product solutions from concept to mass production while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the industrial design process for vehicle security products, from early concept exploration to prototyping and validation
• Translate technical capabilities into compelling hardware experiences by integrating advanced sensors and machine learning models
• Champion a customer-centered design approach by conducting user research and prototype testing in partnership with internal stakeholders

Required qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in industrial design with a proven track record of product development from concept to production
• Bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Strong portfolio demonstrating user-focused design thinking and manufacturability
• Exceptional skills in 2D and 3D design, including proficiency in CAD software (Solidworks preferred)
• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
