Senior Industrial Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting the Ryder Continuous Improvement culture, the full-time Senior Industrial Engineer will drive process improvements and automation efforts remotely, leveraging data analytics and engineering methodologies to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost across operations.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data to identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement plans
- Manage CI and engineering projects, providing recommendations for future initiatives and supporting automation projects
- Coach employees on engineering methods and Lean principles to achieve operational excellence
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain with five years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with three years of experience
- Five or more years of experience in the Warehousing, Transportation, or Manufacturing industry
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Intermediate knowledge of data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau) and database programming (SQL, DAX)
- Understanding of core engineering functions and data analysis related to warehouse operations
