Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as a senior technical authority, the full-time Senior Information Security Engineer will design, develop, and implement security solutions while managing security architecture, incident response, and vulnerability management in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security architecture and engineering solutions to mitigate enterprise risks
• Lead tactical implementation of security initiatives and perform security assessments and product evaluations
• Oversee security incident response and forensics, as well as endpoint security and monitoring efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience of 8 years in IT security
• One or more relevant technical/professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, SANS/GIAC)
• Minimum of 8 years of IT administration experience, with at least 6 years focused on IT security
• Experience with various security technologies and tools, including firewalls and network scanners
• Knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, and communications protocols
