Senior Information Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Information Security Engineer will design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect the company's systems and data while collaborating with IT and compliance teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across networks, systems, and applications to safeguard against threats
• Lead vulnerability management efforts, including scanning, analysis, and remediation
• Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH)
• 5+ years of experience in information security engineering or cybersecurity roles
• Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud security and vulnerability remediation tools
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the mortgage or financial services industry
